Greetings players. Here are your Age Changes:


Game Server
We are aware of the downtime occuring around 2:00 Server Time (GMT+1) every day, and are actively looking for an alternative host.


UI
- Hostility modifier will now be visible on enemy alliance pages on the bottom right.
- New guide page “About” has been added


Other
Racial Synergy
When 2 or more of a race type (Ork, Elf, Bird, Human, Cursed) is represented, a bonus will be granted to the entire alliance. Green tribes do not count toward these bonuses:
   2 Orks: +10% (enemy) battle losses on attacking and defending
   2 Elves: +10% MP/TP regeneration and storage
   2 Winged: -10% (self) battle losses on attacking and defending
   2 Humans: +5% home hold
   2 Cursed: Immunity to Pestilence (no citizen lost for non-cursed)

Bonuses your alliance have shall be shown on your alliance page on the bottom right

Merging
If you are the last tribe to merge from an alliance the invested rps will move with you


War
Hostility
Hostility formula is being changed so that alliances with only a few tribes cannot evade war for the whole age. While it will be easier for war to be declared, it by no means easy for an alliance of 8 to declare on an alliance of 3 or less.

NOW: mod_hostility = raw_hostility * (smaller_alli_size/larger_alli_size) * (#small/#large)
CHANGE TO: mod_hostility = raw_hostility * (smaller_alli_size/larger_alli_size) * (1 - 0.4 * (1 - #small/#large))
GREEN TRIBES NOT INCLUDED IN FORMULA

News
When war ends, alliance news will show how much spoils were gained/lost


Power
For alliances with different #tribes, power is alleviated for the alliance with the fewer members at war start (greens don't count).
This means while it is still advantageous to have more tribes, it is less of a sure win, as the alliance with fewer tribes needs to accumulate less than normal power to win.

NOW: If ((#small < #large) then (small_power = power * (1 - 0.4 * (1 - #small/#large)))
CHANGE TO: If ((#small < #large) then (small_power = power * (1 - 0.6 * (1 - #small/#large)))
GREEN TRIBES NOT INCLUDED IN FORMULA

#small = #tribes in alliance with fewer members
#large - #tribes in alliance with more members
small_power = new alleviated power for alliance with fewer members
power = original power needed

1% research invested now gives 0.35% reduced building damage (max 35%)

Racial synergy is a great idea. Might i suggest to change the quick links to reflect the race types in play, than by attackers, mages and thieves in the race guide area please.
