Inside protection nobody is able to do any aggressive things against your tribe. It also is impossible to do them yourself. It is the ideal time to build up your tribe and defenses.

You begin play with a set number of military units based on your race, as well as goods and barren acres that you can build in the manner that you choose. Both military training and construction is instantaneous while in protection. (Note that barracks will not reduce costs while in protection.)

The speed of the game means you have to get your tribe in a good shape in a short time, using your money wisely early will have an exponential effect on your tribe.

Leave protection

Tribes that are just starting to play can come out of protection by clicking the Start Now button found on the “Tribe”, “Construction” and “Military Training” pages.

Heritage bonus

The start for tribes who died playing in an iterative lifetime has some differences. Instead of starting military, you have a certain amount of extra goods and barren land to build upon depending on your previous lifetime.

Your first actions when starting with heritage should be to:

  1. Build on your barren land
  2. Train basic soldiers
  3. Upgrade the basic soldiers to units with higher defence
  4. Leave protection!
