refreshes the page. So if your last action was 'explore 1 acre', it does that again. And if you press f5 again, it does it again. And so on..

the obvious solution is of course to use a marker: Tribe X has 295 times explored 1 acre.

Just goes to show that it's the 2k heritage doing a lot for CD.

Not saying they wouldn't end up on top either way. But heritage is only making the process far more boring.. but old argument [:p]

Heritage accomplishes the OPPOSITE of what it was supposed to.

It is one of THE biggest issues with the playability of the game as it stands.

I see absolutely no benefit to the game of heritage.

Heritage was put into place by Martel to keep the cycle of life and death going continuously. It would help newer players get a jump start towards their next life cycle after they died, and it would help recently dead tribes participate in battles sooner - making death painful, but a little less traumatizing to the alliance.

Instead it's created a painful barrier to entry as established alliances manage their bonuses like a family trust fund with no estate taxes. Once an alliance is successful for one age, it's not particularly hard to keep the cycle going with natural death easily over 10k the restart is at 2k - already size enough to cause damage. The current cycle all revolves around a Heritage Management System of coddling newborns and oppressing threats.

Please provide proof of a benefit to the heritage system besides the “I like it” argument.

If it was removed we could simply tweak ML cast success probability if the goal is to make smaller tribe play more interesting & useful.

heritage is fucked up. because a bigger tribe has a stupid success rate on ops against a smaller tribe. and we play this game in order to have KTs. and when we're in full WM but 2x bigger as the tribes opping us we get stupid success rate and that's frustrating. eliminate heritage eliminate the size difference make this game really war friendly!!!
