When someone does thieve ops on you, can you kill the returning thieves with LB?

If the thieves used have a def value, can they be killed with LB?

How does it all work with thieves?

Joe -

I think thieves can be LBed just like military units.

Darkwing -

Their army is out of your mage's reach.

Your head of mystics also reports:
Our mage has cast the spell 2 times.
He succeeded 2 times and failed 0 times.

Guess it doesn't work either way. Why not? [:|]

No thieves were killed but it took my mana.

Darkwing -

probably because the thieves have no att value, and as result don't get seen as an “attack”, whilst thieves burning your homes I definatily see as an attack. [8)]

VorteX -

for thieves there's Jura though tbh...

Tiia -

jura is war only though

Tiia -

but - thieves shouldn't be affected by LB - if they've succeeded in their ops they should be successful in getting home safely - they're supposed to be stealthy folk.

What I don't get is why TT is an op performed by thieves - shouldn't that be a spell - or even a attacker's op? - Or better yet - an alliance op to be used by thieves in similar fashion to the mage's alliance spells.

Sweet -

So if a mori attack you with thieves you can't lb him same as britt?

regardless whether they succeed or not, burning homes is an attack, so they should be killable by LB.

Those thieves have an off value so are killable by LB.......I would hope.
