But more seriously, a lot of successful hunts will need to happen in the first week or they're going to zoom past everyone else. Once they're ~1.5k+ acres, it becomes a lot harder to predict when they'll attack again since they'll attack a lot less frequently. The online indicator for each individual tribe should be brought back. Why was it removed? Because there's less players so it's easier to hunt? Err, okay, but less players also mean there's less attackers putting pressure on.

Meradin was essentially the only raven since #13's raven destroyed his own economy by switching into acads + guilds way too early into the age. So yeah, you would've grown freely even without Meradin. But then the rest of Orkfia can do that too. The difference would be that the attackers would catch up to the leading explorers much faster. Instead, for the past 2-3 ages, there's been one alliance with a raven that gets free reign to explore. Like last age, #13's tribes were around 3-4k acres while having less defence than other tribes at 2k acres. When that happens, it becomes ridiculously hard to kill the runaway alliance because of how good their citz to military ratio is.
When you have more big ravens, you end up with Age 80 and 81 where the bigger raven grows even faster by feeding off the smaller raven which in turn feeds off the rest of Orkfia. You end up with 2 big ravens but I suppose at least there's no one alliance running away with explores.
Either way, a decent raven will pull ahead and stay ahead.
