Age 49 changes


Building cost formula

Now:
Cr = ((Acres ^ 0.96) / 10)
Wood = 4*acres^0.4

Changed to:
Cr = ((Acres ^ 0.96) / 10) * race modifiers
Wood = (4*acres^0.37) * race modifiers


Login
Remove persistent login for security reasons.

We wanted to make sure the game didn't log you out if you left your browser open, but that doesn't work. Still, we'll think of something - you won't log out just because you haven't loaded a page for the past 40 minutes. In fact, it should take at least 60 minutes before you're logged out.



Thief op: Ambush

Changed to:

Thieves required: 5 per enemy acre
TP required /5
Claims 10% of the incoming land
0.5% of returning military units killed
+10% gains and damage in war
Sending less than 0.4 thieves per enemy acre results in the operation yielding no gains at all.


Race changes

Race changes this age are based largely on the Statistics page

Dragon:

Remove traits:
Cannot sell goods to the market
Building is free
Remove their market goods switch tool

Red Dragon: 55/15 -> 55/10


Dark Elf:

Mana regenerates 100% faster than normal -> Mana regenerates 75% faster than normal.

Nightrider: 5/7 -> 4/7


Owl:

Remove traits:
Failed ops leave no traces.
Intel ops do not require thievery plans.

40% of normal self op gains -> 50% of normal self op gains.


Mori Hai:

Add trait: Intel ops do not require thievery plans.


Eagle:

Add trait: +25% mana/tp regeneration.


Spirit:

Change trait wording: Thieves are undetectable --> No thief losses on failed operations
Add trait: Failing operations does not generate tribe news on the target.


Oleg Hai:

Wolfrider 7/0 700 cr becomes 7/0 650 cr


Rept Hai:

Basilisk 0/7 800 cr becomes 0/7 750 cr


User friendliness:

Personal stats page added.

Staff would like to inform you that they would really like to implement more user friendly features, but this is difficult due to the code structure of the game and the lack of coders.


Sneak peek

Development is working on changing war and growth. These changes will not affect the core of the game (grow and wage war) but rather on changing the game in such a way that people spend more time waging war and less time growing.

- RaceHerMod is 1 by default. Some races have a different modifier:
- Balrog = 0.5
- Dragon = 0.2
- Dwarf = 1.5

Well every race has to have a weakness. It's unfair when other races can run out of money to rebuild when dragons can't.
Log cost is cheaper, and dragons buildings only cost 1/5 of normal so i wouldn't go as far to say they will suffer...

It varies... the oldest ones are from about a year ago.
