?? Thieves and mages have always been core to the game...

Recently, a lot of the top tribes have been attackers too. Maybe you haven't noticed though.

raam- a few years back they were not. and even if they would have, it still would be a shame.
sonix- 4 is not many.

it is easier to play t/m, yes. it take less skill.
but it is not more fun and it is really less exciting.

it is 4 right now. 2 of our big attackers just died of age not very long ago at all. Attackers are still a big part of this game.

Halc -

keep in mind attackers tend to get killed a lot more than TMs for obvious reasons. it's quite a common strat

Seems like that's a matter of opinion, though - some people like playing t/ms more than attackers, and you don't happen to be one of them. I don't see why this is a valid reason to make thieves or mages a less viable playstyle for everyone in comparison to attacker.

The most skillful people I know in my own alliance are the t/m players [up]

the most skillful people can play any race :p

it comes down to a matter of preference and activity patterns. i wouldn't say playing one is more skills demanding than another. it's one thing to play a race and another to exploit its full potential and be at max effectiveness.

Cecil: are you by chance slightly over 2k acres, since the selfops also take advantage of the new scaling, so if you say that it is off by 52 i think you forgot that part and are only slightly over 2k

lol.....it sounds a bit like they are done a favour with that extra def point......they are paying for it!! 50cr more expensive....LOL
